The Society of St Vincent de Paul is an international Christian voluntary organisation providing practical assistance to those in need. In England and Wales more than 10,000 SVP volunteers carry out visits to those in the community who may need support of one kind or another.
The parish of St Lewis, Croft has an active SVP conference which can help local people who are facing various difficulties including financial worries, loneliness or health related problems, etc. We offer a helping hand or a friendly ear to anyone who needs it, regardless of faith and all our dealings are carried out in the strictest confidence, complying with data protection guidelines.
If you, or someone you know could benefit from a visit or phone call from one of our members, please contact the office on 01942 273851 and leave your name and contact details. These will be passed on to one of our members who will contact you to discuss how best we can help.
Please be aware that during the coronavirus pandemic will are unable to make face to face visits, but we will work with you to do our best to find a way to help.
From time to time we organise fundraising events, publicised on the St Lewis Parish newsletter which can be downloaded from this website.
We welcome monetary donations which are crucial to helping us with our work.
If you wish to donate, please call the office on 01942 273851.
